Janet is born May 16, 1966 is an American producer, song writer, recording artist, dancer and actress, she is a prominent figure in pop culture for over 25 years. The youngest child of the Jackson family, she began her career with the variety television series The Jacksons in 1976 and went on to appear in other television shows throughout the 1970s and early 1980s, including Good Times, Different Strokes, and Fame.

After signing a recording contract with A&M in 1982, she became an icon in all genres of music following the release of her third studio album Control (1986). Her collaborations with record producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis incorporated elements of rhythm and blues, funk, disco, rap, rock and industrial beats, which led to crossover appeal in popular music. In addition to receiving recognition for the innovation in her records, choreography, music videos, and prominence on radio airplay and MTV, she is acknowledged as a role model for her socially conscious lyrics.

In 1991, she signed the first of two record-breaking, multi-million dollar contracts with Virgin Records, establishing her as one of the highest paid artists in the industry. Unbreakable is the eleventh studio album by American singer Janet Jackson was teased from her official site. It was released on October 2, 2015, and went number one on all charts. Her album first release was FOREVER AND THEN THE VIDEO SLEEP. The song spent nine weeks atop of the Adult Contemporary charts and Janet is listed as the Number 7 female artist of all time as per Billboard magazine. This is first album released under her independent label Rhythm Nation Records which was underwritten by her Qatari husband Wissam Al Mana also a Muslim. Distributed by BMG Rights Management. She announced in May 2015, that she would embark on the Unbreakable World Tour and release her eleventh studio album through her own independent record label as a result of a partnership between herself and BMG. Janet is the third artist in history to dominate consecutively one album in each of the last four decades. Truly this speaks her legacy Unbreakable.
